moving day... we can never fit everything in this bad boy..always a two trip deal. Those guys worked hard!

as i was making coffee at the new place, i heard ducks quacking...and there they were! There is also a peacock that likes to scream out.

Scott and Chloe were over for the weekend helping and hanging out....we walked over to the neighborhood over that has a wooded trail. i think there is a longer/better one on the other side of us, but apparently, i should call the neighbors dog to walk with me in case of bears (who are in search of summer berries).

side of house (horses grazing back there). this is the side the kids' bedrooms look to. ashlyn is so excited to have a view out of her window ;)
adam is loving the gas range. we haven't had one in so long!
gotta love summer....dusk at 10:30pm.
my thoughts. i love, love, love it here. i love being on a large property with fields and horses and forest and mtns....i love not being closed in by neighbors. i love the view off my back porch. i love that the school is less than a mile away and the stores are super close and adam's work is 5 min away. i love being in a rambler with an open feeling inside. i love that even on hot days, the house stays cool b/c of the covered porches. i love that i have a sewing room loft space over the garage. i love that adam won't be so beat and tired when he gets home b/c there is no more commute! i think we are going to be very happy here. Today, we prep the kids' rooms for painting. They come home from San Diego on Saturday, and we want their rooms painted and put together :)

oh my wow! That's a beautiful place. I'm so happy for you guys! I would LOVE to be there. I completely know what you mean about not feeling closed in by neighbors. I want that open space! Okay, I'm gonna stop all this coveting :P Really, this is awesome <3

It amazes me how often you all move! LOL! I think it'd be great to have so many different experiences in different places/homes but I like having the strong roots we have too... oh! the delima! LOL! Beautiful place though, my favorite part (from this post) is that trail! I'd love to have a secluded place like that so close by to go "hide" into!

Dood! That place looks sweet. You gots space. You're gonna need to let me know how your eggs turn out from the pastured chickens on that fenced in patch. Love you guys. Can't wait to come up there and hang out again.
