Yesterday, the kids and i popped over to adam's baseball game (just in time to see him hit a double, and eventually make it to home), then, soon after we got home, Scott and Chloe came b/c the boys were going out for a guy day of golf and pool. Chloe and i hung out with the kids...took them down to the waterfront for ice cream, dragged them for a quick stop in the antique store, and then walked the boardwalk and dipped their feet in the water. It was a gorgeous day, and all i have to show for it are these iphone pics :)
i love that they hold hands :)
look at that tan arm! compliments of her san diego trip and all that pool/beach/sun time. i never thought my kids could tan. i thought their pale skin was like mine!
walking down the boardwalk. Ben thought this activity request of his was "payback" to me and Chloe for making him walk through the antique store! haha. Chloe said, "Pay us back all you want!"
(random boy next to ash..we don't know him). The kids threw rocks, tried skipping them, waded as far as they dared...i tried keeping ben from getting his jean shorts wet, but it was inevidable. I told him that i think next time, he should wear swim trunks! Ashlyn is wearing shorts under her dress and tied her dress up. when she saw these photos of her and you can barely tell she is wearing any shorts, she said the photos were "unfortunate". haha! There is one i didn't post that looks like she has bare butt cheeks. In good humor, she made me promise to never show it or she'd hate me forever. ;)
chloe snapped this one after we all came back from dinner. The kids pulled their baby books out and we were looking through them :) i love my babies. They grow up way too fast.
speaking of babies....i made it to auntie-hood status..! YAY!
Adam's brother James, and his wife Sabrina are expecting in January! This is the first photo i've ever seen of my little niece or nephew :)
The kids will finally have a cousin!
:)
ashlyn's arm looks freakishly long in the picture of her throwing a rock!
