....well, i guess not that big of a deal, but i kind of figured it's a miracle that i'm finally posting something. i'm sorry... for those of you who check my blog everyday and had to look at the same front photo each and every time. i get annoyed when that happens on other blogs...so, i'm sorry. :) i'm not even going to attempt to catch up on the last 2 months. but here are a few bullet points with one corresponding photo:
- scott and chloe got married...the family was all out and it was a blast. the wedding was beautiful...i cried buckets (and thankfully the photographer didn't get me in my "ugly cry" moment) . we all cried buckets, i believe.
-fall was beautiful. i love fall
-the kids are hilarious and growing up fast. how does that happen? here is us on halloween
-i love my sweet husband.
ok, that pretty much catches you up to"now-ish" ;)
So, it snowed the week of thanksgiving. It was 3+ inches of beauty!
for thanksgiving, adam's cousin ryan and his girlfriend Ai came to visit. Ryan was taking her all over to see the US for the first time (they met in japan when he was living over there). she was so sweet! and it was so cool to hear him talk in full japanese.
i was excited to use these plates for the first time. i scored 8 of them at Goodwill...awesome condition. they are from the 60's.
Ryan and Ai :)
the next day, we broke out the Christmas decor! sorry if these are darker than normal. too lazy to go into photoshop ;)
Ashlyn made this... so cute, right?? she has already stuffed all our stockings with some sort of note (i think that is what it is), and right now she is working on crafts to give us as our presents under the tree. so precious. kids just make christmas so fun!
all decorated :)
i even learned how to make a fresh wreath! so simple! and handy that i have all the douglas fir branches i need in my own backyard ;)
this one i made at a wreath making party... one of the girls brought holly and cedar from her property.
this one i just made from the fallen branches in my backyard. yay for pine cones still attached!
ok! i think that is pretty much it for now. i'll try not to make it so far and few between, but no promises. blogging takes forever compared to facebook ;)
yay for a blog, love it! and i love the homemade wreaths. so cool - especially since there's one less fallen branch in the backyard that i have to clean up now :-)

erin, the wreaths are awesome. and i'm so bummed we won't be there for Christmas this year. i know what you mean about blogging and i totally forgive you. the last blog i wrote was a recap of my honeymoon in july...and i didn't even get around to writing it until september!

I have looked at this entry and number of times. I always love to see your entries and usually look at them at least 3 or 4 times but I hardly ever comment but I am so happy to see a little glimpse of what is happening in the lives of my family in the great northwest :)
