saturday project

so, i made these this afternoon.  i made them from an old sheet (with daisies! :) ), and they are super comfy!  i didn't have a pattern, so i kinda of winged it while looking at my other lounge pants.  just don't look at the sewing too close.  one day, my stitching will be nice and straight! :)

ashlyn helped me take a pic :)

hot.

wow!! very cute and good job!! I need to get my machine out! I want to sew skirts for the summer!

wow, those are so cool. I tried learning how to sew, but no one that i know knows how to. =[ but i can knit! not that that helps with pj pants.

and on a former blog,
the face paint one...
I'm proud of ben for getting a snake painted on his face. thats awesome. I always help my anatomy teacher peel the class pet's (snake) skin off.

I bet those ARE comfy! I just love the feeling of really nice sheets that have been worn in... it's tempting to try my hand at it myself. However I do not have a machine and when i start projects by hand I end up getting 1/3 thru and then quitting. :)

I was thinking about going to walmart and getting some of their smocked fabric to make some really simple sun dresses for the girls. Have you seen this stuff? It's like smocked on the top and then not on the bottom so I'm thinking you could really make something simple with it that would turn out cute. I think with some satin ribbons for "sleeves" that would be really adorable. I'll try it and if it turns out good I'll show you :)

Oh and I'm glad you're blogging again. I missed it!!

Those are super cute!
